All would be Indians or Indins that continue to advocate the use of the word Indian or Indin i.e. Indian center, Indian Country, American Indian Movement, Indian this and Indin that should get together with all the non-Pnaci people in planning the forthcoming Christopher Columbus quinenintenial celebrations. But place remember it was the this same Christopher Columbus and all whom immediately followed in the wake of his vaingloried greed that brand you mistakes, and may I add that with your your apparant blessing continue to do so to this day. Also for those among you who absurdedly think that the word Indios somehow translates into In God, well use some plain common sense. In the fourteenth and fifteenth hundreds England and Spain certainly were not on the most cordial of terms. They would never have agreed to use the English world in combined with the Spanish word Dios to come up with the ridiculous word of term In Dios(God). Please! Please! Stop and think. If however you enjoy being called Indian or Indin, in which case by your own choice you there by condone the absurdity fostered upon you by one Cristobal Colon and those Europeans that followed him, then please disregard this message. * Pnaci (Pen-ah-see) A very old word (preserved with dignity by elders of our race) meaning anyone who is a a descendant of the Old Ones i.e. Old Ones indigenous to this hemisphere. Respectfully<
P.S. Unwitting? Columbus Colaborators To call oneself Indio, Indian, American Indian, or Indin is to condone the grievous actions and gross misdeeds of Christopher COlumbus and everything he stood for. |
